Ana

Let me introduce myself. My name is Ana Cuellar, and I am the founder of Pistachos Ana. Mother of 3 and grandmother of 7, I have three passions in life: family, music and nature.

I inherited the family estate “Los Cerrillos,” a magical place where I spend marvelous moments with my loved ones. I tend to this magnificent legacy with the special care required for future generations. I am proud to carry the name of Ana, like that of my mother, whom I thank and to whom I dedicate my fabulous dream: Pistachos Ana.

Our ecological pistachio trees are grown in the idyllic region of Castilla-La Mancha, bathed in radiant sunlight, irrigated with calm waters from the Río Júcar and surrounded by pine and other indigenous trees, many of which my parents planted decades ago.

Only through effort, passion and prime raw material is it possible to produce the quality of our ecological pistachios.

More than a profession, my pistachios are a dream come true, a dream for this beautiful land that I inherited from my beloved mother.

Organic Pistachios

At present we produce organic pistachios with an average caliber of 20 to 22 mm comprising the Kerman, Sirora and Larnaca varieties that are grown over 65 hectares of land.

With a potential annual production of approximately 100 tons of dried pistachios, we use state-of-the-art technology to harvest the crop, all the while respecting the environment to the greatest degree.

Our pistachios are likewise certified by the OCE Global Certification Body (CP489/2022. PE-375/2019), which verifies that absolutely no pesticides or herbicides are used. And our pistachio trees are watered by means of a drip irrigation system powered by solar panels.

Each section of the estate to which the Pistachos Ana team devotes its painstaking efforts is special and unique and enjoys its own name and identity: La Pista, El Batanejo, Marcelo y Antoñin, Moropio, Senda de las Cargas, Las Laderas, Doña Pilar, Pelijaro, El Tío Julián and Caletre.
